New to the game

Hello everyone,

My name is Martie and today for the first time I have really thought about lap band surgery. I always said I would not do it. And I haven't. I have so many questions about this surgery. One of the more pressing things I want to know is, is there anyone who has had this surgery and has lost a significant amount of weight resulting in sagging skin? Are you 50 and over and if your skin sagged what have you done besides surgery to rectify this problem? Is there anything one can do to "rectify" this problem (besides surgery.) I am almost ashamed to say I'd rather be a big girl with skin sticking to my fat than thin and sagging skin. Somebody give me a different perspective please.
