Port fix question

As I have posted before my port sticks way up where you can see it and that is the main thing I am unhappy about. Does anyone know what the procedure is to fix this problem, i.e., anesthesia or not, inpatient or outpatient, how long it takes, etc. I am telling my doctor tomorrow that whatever I need to do to have it pushed further down in my body that has got to happen.

I'm almost positive that they have to put you under again. I was a cash patient and very concerned about the cost if something went wrong with anything. He said that he can usually fix the port for 2,000.
