Hi my name is Christi. I am currently looking into lap-band surgery in Mexico. I have insurance (BC/BS) but it does not cover weight loss surgery. I'm just feeling really LOST in all of this, and don't know where to turn. I have done a fair amount of research, but feel there is so much more to learn. If you are considering getting banded far away from home, make sure you have a local clinic that will do fills. Call them and make sure they do fills for ALL doctors. Some clinics are affiliated with specific doctors and will only do fills for those patients.
