I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jax, FL and I have my surgery date for the 22nd of Aug. I'm very excited and nervous all in one.. Dr. Babtist will be doing my surgery. I have my preop appt on the 13th and I imagine they will start me on the preop diet then too but I'm going to go ahead and start it now. I figure it can't hurt. If anything it will give me a head start.

Anyway, it's great to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all. :thumbdown:

Welcome to the group! I started my pre op diet today, I have to do liquids only for one week. It has been a very difficult day. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.

i have to do two weeks of the preop diet but I will end up probably closer to 18 days... I hope it isn't too hard!

Good Luck! I am struggling with my pre-op diet now. I do good all day until I get home and I am starving to death!

Thanks, girls :biggrin: I know it will be difficult but I've just got to keep telling myself that it's for my own good.
