wondering

Hello, My name is Myra. I am researching the lap band procedure and wondering if it is right for me. I have an appointment next week to discuss it with surgeons. I know that my chronic leg pain would be much better without the extra weight. Just want to hear from everyone whether it has been a positive or negative experience for them.

Hi Myra. I love my lap band. It was an easy surgery and recovery. And although I have not lost weight quickly, it has been steady. Most importantly, I don't struggle just to "not" gain any more. I don't work that hard, and still lose a little. Good luck to you.
