Hi,

My name is Elizabeth, and I was banded in Richardon, Texas by Dr. Benevides on

July 24th. The first 2 days were awful. Pain, gas, soreness, and I was so swollen that I looked bigger than I have ever been. I was really having 2nd thoughts. Today is Sunday. I feel alot better, there is still some soreness and gas, but I feel alot better. There is still some swelling. But at least I don't look deformed. I have had some visitors that told me they can already tell I am losing. :) It is good to hear something positive after all the negative that I have felt over the last couple of days. I know that it will be worth all the bad in the end.

I haven't had any nausea yet, I am very thankful for that. I will keep yall posted.

Hi Elizabeth. I was banded on the 11th of July and only in just the last few days have begun feeling like a normal person. Still have pain in the port site (probably because it was larger), but my doctor said some people never lose the tenderness in their port site. It's all going to be worth it though. As of this morning I am down 21 pounds. YIPPEE!!!
