Hernial Incision?

I had lap band surgery on 7-7-08 and have been doing great, no complications whatsoever. Until now, I may have overdone it by lifting my suitcase and a cooler weighing more than ten pounds. The largest incision in the center of my abdomen has a hard area under the skin to one side. It feels sore ocasionally. Is there anyone with this concern who can provide advice?

I hope that it is. It has had me concerned this evening, but talking to others on this website has made me feel better. I did not relize my port was located there. I have not had a fill yet. THX.

My doc gave no weight lifting restrictions, and I've been carrying around my 22 pound daughter since three days post surgery. It's more than likely your port.
