Hello

My name is Diana and I am thinking about being banded. I have been thinking about it for a year. I have read books, read forums, and am talking with my family about it. Just wanted to introduce myself.

Long2BFree... have you been banded already?? How was it??

I'm 8 days post op, being banded on July 17th.

The surgery went smoothly. I ended up having extra scar tissue removed from my gallbladder surgery and had a hiatal hernia repair so I had a little more pain than I expected to experience. I'm now feeling about 80% back to normal... still dealing with getting tired easily. I haven't really dealt with any hunger at this point but know it's coming once my swelling goes down. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
