Help 3.5cc fill today now constant PB

Hi,

I had been having no restriction at all so got a 3.5ccfill today now have 7cc's in a 10 cc band. Drank Water after the fill ok. Came home and tried some cream Soup for dinner and have done nothing but PB ever since. Is this ok or should I be worried?

It sounds as if it is too full. I would go back to your doctor and have them take some out.

Hope you get to feeling better!

Good lord, what Dr. in their right mind would give you 3.5cc's at one time. Most reputable fill doctor's give only 1cc at a time if you have already been filled. I don't mean to sound harsh, but a fill as little as 0.5cc's can make a world of difference. I felt no restriction when I was at 4.5cc's so I was given another .5 and was getting stuck at 5.0cc's on my Vitamins in the morning and my Dr. took out only .2cc's to bring me to 4.8cc and I am at a sweet spot now.

I hope that you are able to get comfortable quickly. Being stuck can not only be dangerous, but very scary as well.

Can anyone tell me what happens after a 10cc band is full? I didn't think to ask my Dr. that and now I am curious.

If you were able to drink Water at your apt., then maybe the doctor thinks after your swelling goes down, you'll be able to drink water and more... My doctor always said 3-5 days clear liquid after a fill because of the swelling. This is what can fit through and also the least irritating to the esophogus. If you can drink water (and Isopure Protein drinks which are clear from GNC), then you should wait... 3-5 days. then incorporate full liquids, then mushies and so on.

See where you can get to in 10 days... if you are still too tight, then go in for an adjustment.

Thanks for the advice. Clear liquids it is. I got crystal light down and a couple of pills this morning. I may try a creamy again soon. Hopefully this will be the sweet spot!!!

I have to agree with pta2007. that is an awfully large fill for one after the intial fill. Yikes. I'm SURE you're way to tight. The most common fill amount is indeed 1 cc in a larger band. .5 or less in a smaller band. Hope your doctor can remedy this for you right away!!

So i went back to the Doc today had him remove 1.5cc leaving the additional 2 in and now I'm fun can eat and drink again. so I'm definitely going to have to gettopped off agian. Think I'll wait a least a couple of weeks though. Thanksfor the help.

3cc's is not uncommon for a 1st fill, but elaine had already been filled previously, and most Dr's go up gradually from there usually 1cc at a time.
