Post fill problem

I had a fill 10 days ago and stuck to progressively thicker liquids for 4-5 days. Over the last two days I tried eating 'mushies' but did have some food that I probably should of avoided.

Last night I couldn't sleep due to coughing up saliva. I slept (ish) upright. Today I've had about 100ml of Protein shake and 200ml of creamy Soup but I now feel tight and sore. I'm worried that the soup isn't going down either. I've been feeling flu-ey all morning - cold, weak and a little faint. Anyone else been through this? I'm worried that I've damaged my band.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need an unfill. You shouldn't need to be on mushies 10 days after a fill. Call your Dr. and let them know whats going on. Probably just a little unfill will make a big difference.

Good luck.

I was told to do liquid for the rest of the day the day of my fill and the next day but after that to go back to regular food. I had problems with my fill being too tight. I just went for my second unfill and I'm fine now. I would call your doctor and tell him/her what's going on and they will probably get you to come back to take some out.

Yes it sounds like you are too tight? How big a fill was it? Typically I have .3 removed and am fine after that. You should be on solids rightr now. My doctor recommends, liquids 24 hrs, mushies 24 then solids.
