Hello from TX

I am gonna get banded 8/8/08,my wife was banded 1/4/08 and she is looking great i am so proud of her,I have diabetes and have had a long time controling it ,i have read up on lapband and diabetes and hope to fight this diese with this tool(lapband). My wife and i have a two year son and we hope to send many years with him. Helping us lose this weight will increase our time with and and future children and grandchildren. Just a brief summary of my family and I.

Jvato ~ welcome!! and congrats on making the decision. Being there for my kids is one of my many reasons to have the surgery as well. What part of Texas do you live in? I'm in Grand Prairie (DFW area).

Having your wife there to support you and also knowing what you are going through is so great!! I bet she is an inspiration to you as well.
