Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and new to the idea of lapband. I am 24 years old and have been overweight all of my life. I have tried just about every diet out there and only had short term sucess.

I don't have a surgery day yet, but I am going to the seminar provided by the hospital on August 16th!!

Hi and welcome. This website has so many resources, I am not yet banded but was exactly where you are in March...now I feel like I could write a book about approval! Good luck and can't wait to hear about your story.

Welcome and good luck! I am in your shoes as well. I will be attending my orientation Aug 21 at Ellis hospital in NY. My boyfriend and I are doing this together. This is a great please to find answers to questions you are not comfortable asking your doctor about. Can't wait to hear how orientation went!!
