I will be having my surgery around the first of August, the date is not set yet due to an infection in my stomach. Anyway tell me how you got through the first 2 weeks prior to the surgery on an all liquid diet and if you have any suggestions I can follow.

Hi, I was wondering can someone tell me does everyone have to go on a liquid diet before banding?

not everyone goes on a liquid diet, and there is not a specified time for the people who are on a liquid diet to be on it for, it can range from 2 weeks to 24 hours. it all depends on the surgeons preferences as well as the indiviudal's BMI (i think)
