3 days post-op and feeling ok, is it normal to have quite a bit of gas, mainly burping??

Just wait until your stomach heals and the swelling goes down. (I sound like a frat boy at a kegger when I'm alone)

Very normal

I would rather burp than to have gas pain in the belly. (That hurts )

Try some of those Gas-X strips.
