I am going to a doctor and his consultation is 200.00 is that regular price ?

Mine is $190.

I was self pay and it cost $400.00 for the consultation

i was self pay & had no consult fees. insurance did pay for a pre-op testing.

I wasn't charged for a one-on-one consult with my surgeon (but I had to have previously attended his seminar). No tests were performed, but his PA took a brief history.

i don't think my doctor's office even accepts money. if you doc is making you pay for the initial visit, he'll probably make you pay for the after care. maybe you should find another doctor.

The seminar was free, then the Dr.s consult was covered by my insurance, I had a $12.00 copay. I would imagine, they charged my insurance something like that.

I used True Results in Austin, Texas and they were offering it free at the time.....:tt2:

$250 of which I ended up paying $95. The rest was covered by insurance.
