Newbie in PA

Hello my name is Patti and I am new to this site. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about who Patti is. I am 48 years old weigh 360 and have been overweight all my life. I have been considering this surgery for a while now. I thought I wanted gastric bypass but decided it just wasn't for me since it is so drastic. I love going to the gym, bicycling, playing cards and spending time with my husband and chocolate lab named Whizzer. I'm sure I will have tons of ? for all of you who have already had the procedure done or are on the verge of having it done. I will be a self pay since my insurance will not even consider covering this surgery. I am just starting to look into the cost and everything that goes with it. Talk to you again later thanks, Patti
