disappointed

:frown:I am really bummed. My nutritionist called me at quarter to eight this

morning to reschedule my appointment today. Now my appointment isn't

until June 26th. While I realize this is only 2 weeks away I can't help

being very disappointed. This was the last thing I had to do before

submitting for insurance approval. I know in the grand scheme of things

it will probably never matter whether I had my surgery on xx date or

two weeks earlier. Although I am a little nervous because my husband's

company was bought out by another company and his position is not as

secure as it was. If he has to leave we will lose our insurance which

was another reason why I was in a hurry to get things done. I just

needed to whine to a group of people who I thought might understand my

disappointment, since not everyone I know can understand why this is

such a big deal to me. I know it unds ridiculous but I just want to lay down and sulk.

I'm sorry to hear that Heather. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I would call the nutritionist again and explain your situation so if someone cancels an appointment, she can give you a call ASAP.

I am so sorry that you had to reschedule your appointment. I can so relate to your disappointment as I went through the same thing with my surgeon earlier this week. He is also not going to take my insurance anymore so I'm just hoping he doesn't change his mind before he does my surgery.

Hopefully the weeks will go by fast for you.

thanks for understanding. I just needed to vent. My family acts like what's the big deal.

I agree with calling and asking to be put onto the cancellation list, and maybe you will get lucky and get in early.

My PS rescheduled me early on, and it put it back a couple of weeks, I was so disappointed--I was ready to get the show on the road!!!

Hope you get a way to get in earlier, is there perhaps another nutritionist you could schedule with?

i understand i had done everything my insurace told me to do plus they claimed i need a pych eval( i paid for )then turned everything in just for them to say "We have our own Doc" so i need to see them before anything ,it took me 2 months to get in then the insurance approved it a week later after that so i understand. keep calling everyday call and see if there was a cancelation

I know how you feel waiting. my insurance is making me do a 6 month diet and by the time I am done with that it will be november for my surgery...so if they prolong anything I am pretty much screwed...see I turn 23 in august and at the end of the year december 31st my insurance will kick me off due to my age...so surgery needs to be before then. I have been worrying about this for quite awhile.
