I was banded March 24th. At first when I had gas (read as the "poots") I thought it was my body adjusting to my new diet. Well I'm 2.5 months out & I'm STILL am farting up a storm! Is this normal? Am I going to live with this the rest of my life?:biggrin:

I feel the same way. I am so uncomfortable all day long during work or other activities with others. I chew a few of the gas-x tabs but, it doesn't take care of it completely. The only thing I can think of is that it is all of the protein.

i was banded a week ago and with me it's burping...real deep burps that feel like they're coming from my feet!

I am 9 months out and the gas is the same with me all the time and never lets up!

Oh great so now when we see people pooting their way thru a store we can stop them & say "Oh, you're a bandster too?"
