Hello everyone!!

I haven't been banded yet, but hope for a late August/September date. I met with the psychologist yesterday, nutritionist next week and the surgeon for my consultation on July 2nd. My 6 months of diet will be complete in August and then it's off to the insurance company to review.. I hear this can take awhile.. Has anyone been banded by Dr. Andrew Averbach in Baltimore, MD?

Hi midnitemel! I'm new too am hoping for an August surgery date. I'm self pay, which has the advantage of a quick turn around, at least that's what I keep telling myself every time I think about how much the surgery is going to cost.

I'm not from Maryland, but maybe someone who knows your surgeon will see your thread. Also, if you haven't tried yet, go to the SEARCH function and try researching him. His name is a little unusual, so you may have luck there.
