Hello

I am new to the lap banding. I am 4 days post op. Does anyone have any tips or advice for me? I don't feel hungry but I do miss the food. I feel weird eating with my family. :(

Any tips for me? I am currently on the step 2 diet until I see my surgeon on Wednesday to have my staples removed.

Dr. Salimath in Peoria did mine. I am step 2 as well. I can eat everything too. Here I am though at almost 3 in the morning feeling weird b/c my sinus drained last night and it gave me this weird nausea feeling. I go back to work today. I also had hernia repair and yes!! I am VERY sore as well.

The only thing I recommend is listen to the stomach not the head hunger... It will not take much of not really being hungry to learn to control the eating habits. I loved the feeling right after surgery when I ould care less if I ate or not! I have my first fill on 6/12 and I will be outta bandster hell :tongue2:

Good luck
