Constantly drinking water

I seem to need water constantly. I was banded Wednesday. Is this normal to need water all the time? I'm on full liquids, thank God. I didn't know how I would have handled clear liquids only. I'm getting my protein in, no problem, and I'm not drinking water while I eat. Just seems like I'm always sipping water. Thanks - Brenda

Yep, I'm drinking a LOT more water since being banded. Not sure if it is psychological about the fact I can't drink soda or now that my body is changing it is craving water more.

I had LB on 2-18 and I am drinking Crystal Light (water) all the time still. In fact my mom just commented the other day that she never sees me anymore without a glass in my hand. I am thirsty all the time. Thank goodness Crystal Light tastes great and I can have all I want!!

If right after the surgery, it's the way of your body handling the IV fluids you got. You're diuresing it out, so your baody's craving for refills. Normal.
