I'm on my way! 1st step!!

I just registered for my pre-op seminar!! :thumbup:It's not until July 11th, but I'm excited!!! I also spoke with my ins co, who said there are no 6-mos diet requirements, etc, although I have documented diet since February. I just hope I can have my surgery before the summer is over!

After the first appointment, it went very quickly. It took a total of 2 1/2 months from beginning to end to get surgery date. Enjoy the process and the new you coming this year!

Wow thats exciting!!! I'm in the same boat as you...the early stages of this process. Keep us posted. I like to hear others tell their story of their journey.

Thanks!! I'm glad I found this board too. Now, if I can only find out how to upload my picture and ticker, I will be fine! LOL

Why didn't I think of that? My seminar is June 25th, and I have been worrying about whether I need a six month diet since I signed up two weeks ago. Tomorrow morning I am going to call my insurance company first thing and put this worry behind me. Thanks.
