Stretched pouch?

How would you know if yours was stretched or not? I am back to eating alot... way more than a cup. I am worried with all the eating that I could have stretched it. :wink2:

If so, is there any way to reverse it?

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, there is a way to find out if you've stretched it. Have them do a fill using Flora - that way they can see the pouch. Mine is slightly stretching, which the Dr. felt may mean I'm too tight. But I'm not filling any restriction either so go figure.

The good news is you can reverse it. Check out this website. Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test

Wow! Thanks for sharing the website. I'm going to give this a try. I gained two pounds this last week and I'm out of control. I'm hoping this will help me get back on track. I have my second fill next week. I guess this is what everyone calls bandster hell! Thanks again!

My pouch is stretched from being too tight as well.

Symptoms included being able to eat at least double what I could before, night time reflux if I ate after about 6pm, heartburn if the food I ate was acidic and SERIOUS burning in my pouch if I drank red wine.

Yet, I never PBd, slimed or got anything stuck so it never occurred to me that I was too tight.

I've had an unfill and am on liquids and then mushies, but only for a week. Doc says it will correct itself with time. I'm at goal, so when he puts a fill back in he wants to keep it loose at about 1cc in a 4cc band to make sure it doesn't happen again (I only had 1.8 in a 4cc band and that was too tight for me).
