Just wanted to shout hooray! I got a call from Tricare yesterday about my surgery! I was a bit confused because I hadn't gotten a call from my surgeon yet, and the lady from Tricare didn't tell me I had gotten approved. She was saying things like "are you getting excited" "are you ready" things like that and I was totally lost. Then my surgeon called and said that I should come in on the 5th for all my pre-op stuff and he'll give me my surgery date that day, which is usually not more than 2 weeks after pre-op! I'm so excited! So bouncing off the walls!!! The whole process has been less than 2 months! So happy!!! :wink2:

That is awesome! Seems Tricare is on the ball this week, I got my approval this week too!

tricare is very fast....from seminar to banding was one month for me...It could have been sooner but that was the first available surgery date LOL!!
