Has anyone experienced a "cramp"?

I had my surgery on May 1st. Over the last few days, I have been experiencing a cramping feeling on my left side. I know that it isn't my port or my lap band. It is a cramp that is on the upper right front side of my abdomen.

I will see the doctor tomorrow for a fill, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of cramping.....

Yes, they are getting better but I still have occasional cramps - sometimes on the right, sometimes on the back and sometimes in the middle. I've seen several people on here referring to cramps in various places in the abdomen. I would ask the doctor but wouldn't be too worried about it.

Interesting, thanks for sharing this. I'd never read about these cramps before. So far I haven't experienced them, but it's so helpful to know if I do that I don't have to panic--which I do easily!

I was banded in September of 2007. I find I get the cramping when I am full. It could be a sign that you have eaten enough. I know that is when I cramp. Good luck on your journey! :)

I just got back from the doc and had my first "fill". I asked him about the pain that I am having and he said that it is a muscle that is still healing.

The fill went very smoothly. I didn't even feel a prick when the needle was put in. He put in 1.5cc's. My band is 5cc's. I am only supposed to have clear liquid today and then very soft food for 2 days.......
