Weigh in... how much have u lost?

I don't know about the rest of you but I am so psyched!! :tt2: I thought it would be fun to see how much we have lost ... say starting with your preop diet (or at least 2 weeks before banding) until now. I think it would also be very motivational for the rest of those who are still waiting to be banded -- give them something to look forward to and help shake those jitters!

Anyway, I was banded on May 8, and as of today have lost a total of 20.5 pounds!!

I was banded May 22, so I am in my 7th week & down 15lbs. :(

 ugh, quick vent: i've been teetering between 250 & 248 for the last couple of weeks. this sucks!!!!! i can't wait for my long overdue fillllllllll!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad KiKiVal! I have been going back and forth with these couple of pounds for almost a month now...BUT I am losing inches, so that's good...i guess...still trucking along though. I am trying just protein and veggies...we'll see how this works.

hey lexy that's great!!! inches are awesome!!

soooo...i was thinking on my drive home, things could be worse, i could have not lost anything at all. i'm trying to stay proud of my accomplishment thus far... :smile2:

I had my surgery May 7 and I've lost 22 lbs. I've had 1 .5cc fill, but due to vomiting and severe pain I had to be unfilled. I have no restriction now, I'm so thankful I have fill appt next week.

I was starting to worry that I was never going to lose another pound! I lost only 1 lb. in 4 weeks of mushies and since then I've stayed the same. But today I got on my home scale and it says I was down 10 pounds! How is that possible?!?!? Just to make sure I got on the scale at teh gym and that said down 9 pounds so I guess it's right.

Whatever -- I'll take it! Of course I still go by my doctors scale as the offical measurement and I go in for a check and 2nd fill on July 30th.

Okay so tell me everyone.... I am seeing some fantastic weight loss on here and I'm wondering if you are including your preop weight loss?? I am 6 weeks post op today with one fill and have only lost 16lbs.... seeing all your great numbers leaves me alittle discouraged.

But congrats to everyone on these great numbers I'm seeing!!!!

Paige everyone losses at a different pace don't get discouraged 16 lbs is amazing! Would you have done that without your band? BTW my weight loss is including my pre-op liquid diet.

Had my 2nd fill yesterday and was told I probably need 1 or 2 more to hit the sweet spot. I now have 6 1/2 cc's in a 12cc band.

Paige: I'm thinking that it includes pre-op also. Also, I think that the more weight that needs to be lost, the initial loss will be quicker. I had no pre-op requirements and since May 1st I am down 22lbs...that's 10 weeks. 2.2lbs per week is very good in my opinion. Of course I would love to see it come off faster, but this rate is the safest way to go and the BEST news is that I am not done by a long shot!!!

Keep up the GREAT work and only compare yourself to YOU!!!

All the best
