Protein Powder

Can anyone give me advice on the best protein powder to get? I would like something flavorless that I can add to broth, drinks, etc.

Flyaway,

Goodmorning! I get all my protein powders from a website called unjury.com. They come in unflavored, chicken broth, and many other flavors. I actually had a hard time with protein drinks until I tried this brand. I do not mind drinking them now. Hope this help. Have a wonderful day.

I have not had surgery yet (May 19) but I have heard the same thing about Unjury. The dietician recommended it and says it is one of the better ones. Good luck!

I haven't tried their unflavored which is probably good but I didn't care for their flavored powders. They didn't satisfy my hunger like some of the other shakes that I drink.

If you don't like Unjury what others did satisfy your hunger? I am just starting to look into them and have already spent a small fortune just to find out they taste terrible.

I just posted a thread on this topic as well.

I'm on Unjury protein power as well.. nasty stuff. but they all are.

But 1 scoopful = 28 grams of protein and you'll need it.

I mixed Unjury non flavored with chicken broth the first week I was home. I went to Jamba Juice today and got one of their lite (150 cal mixes) and dropped a scoopful in it, and it was drinkable (I did not gag as much). Also, I have problems with milk and milk is an important source of proteine. I can't wait to go to foods so i can have my cottage cheese instead . If I ever even think about cheating in 4 months time, i will remember the taste of my Unjury protein and that will keep me on track!!! ha ha.. like Pavlov's dog.. instead of salvating, i'll remember how horrible drinking the stuff was.

good luck to you. its only for 4 weeks anyway. so suck it up!)
