Left-overs

Does anyone else have problems eating leftovers??

I have problems with leftover meats. chicken, beef, pork, etc.

I can eat it fresh without any problems and regardless of how I reheat it I can not get it down and PB.

Just a question, any thoughts...

sometimes esp if its microwaved. If I do eat them I try to add moisture either with a sauce or water

I'm not eating meats yet but my nutritionist told me that meats don't go so well the 2nd time around because they get so dry. She recommended only making very small portions for that reason. Tyson makes a bag of frozen chicken breast strips(think fajita style) and you can pull out a few strips and heat, haven't tried them yet but she said they're great. Three oz has 100 calories, 1g fat and 17g of protein!!

Instead of rehaeating ahve you tried using them cold. I pulse meat just breifly in the food processor with pickle and onion for a meat salad. Add a little dressing if you like. I also use the coarsely ground meats for omlets also. Chicken, cheese &salsa makes a great omlet
