Hey Guys I'm sorry to say that I am no longer a Jazzy Junie. Due to a back injury and missing so much work lately in addition to my husband losing his job I had to change my date to August 5. I'm going to miss you guys!!!! Good Luck to all of you!!! You will do great!!!!!!!!1

I am so excited to be a part of the JAZZY JUNES!! I recently heard that you can't do asprin/Motrin once you're banded does anyone know if this is true?

I am being banded on the 27th by Dr. Kuri! How'd you hear about him? Let me know how it goes do you have to do a pre-op diet? I was told I didn't have to but I am going to try to do it for a week or so.

KPA88, Hi.. I filled out the info apps for 3 drs.. Kuri, Ortiz and Aceves(sp).. Dr Kuri's facilitator called me first. I like that Dr. Kuri is in a hospital. Thats what appealed to me most. The facilitator said I didn't have to do the pre op diet, but I'm going to anyway. I've started eating slower and chewing... it's having a strange effect. I guess my mind is catching up with my stomach from eating slower. It's interesting when I'm used to inhaling my food, i think.

That's great well let me know how it all goes. I've been researching and although it's good you sometimes run across the bad and scary things too. I am still nervous about going to a doctor in Mexico but my insurance just won't cover it here. I've already gotten the run-around. I was referred to Dr. Kuri by a friend, she has been banded for 4 months and is doing great. Because of her I decided to make the call.

I am anxiously awaiting the day, I too don't need to do the pre-op but I plan on doing it anyway! Nice to meet you too! KIT!
