Moving into solids - any suggestions

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could share their experience of moving into solids. What did you try first, what about bread or pita bread? How about rice?

I went a little slow since I had no mushy phase in my post op, I think my first meal was refried beans with a sprinkle of mexican blend cheese ( mainly because I had seen others on this board use that as their first meal and it sounded so good after 3 weeks of liquids!!) as for the breads, I can eat it now but am not yet filled, but when I do eat it I have to be very aware of chewing it enough since I can really see how it is something that is a high risk of getting "stuck"

Thanks. I am not craving (yet) just curious. You are doing great (as per you ticker) congrats! Can I ask how long since you were banded?

I have lost 25 since the pre op and surgery, the remainder of what I have lost I had done before. I did not have any hunger at all for 2 weeks post op and then I finally stated to have some hunger, in the last couple of days I have really gotten hungry and am going to call for my 1st fill in the am. I was banded on 3/25 by Dr. Ortiz in Tijuana.

congrats on your loss too, 26 is great!!
