Hardness in the stomach

I am getting frustrated as I have the surgery on the 15th of January and have only lost 1 stone or 15 pounds. My body is getting somewhat smaller though my stomach is remaining quite large and it is extremely hard. I need advice as to is this common and does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of the hardness in the belly. Thanks!

Shellhisto...I guess I'm not understanding your question. Hardness in the belly? If you mean your tummy is still sticking out well...everyone loses different and for some the losing of weight seems to show faster in some areas versus the others and unfortunately the stomach is usually one of the last places for weightloss to show for most people, myself included.
