I am getting ready for my first surgical consultation. A bit apprehensive and quite anxious. Just looking for advice on anything that you think will help. Im open to all suggestions. I heard that taking a pencil and composition book (to the seminars) will do you a lot of good. I went with my mom and A LOT of people were doing that. I am glad I wrote down stuff cuz my mom was in a trance the whole seminar I think. Looking back on notes can help!

Welcome Hippiemams! I was really freaked out the week before my banding, but I sure got over it! The folks here are really great, and feel free to search any threads here. There is a lot of great information here.
