Call the doctor. They should have an explanation or invite you in for an apt. Either way, they are the best choice you have for advice on that. RRight after surgery my port site hurt, but now all is well.

I was banded on march 5th. I had my first fill last week. I meet with a few people at the hospital while waiting for my fill...we compared notes because I have had a little pain on the side where the port is located. Two out of five have pain ( feels like a bee sting) sometimes it feels tight almost like a pulling sinsation? I ask my Doc and she said it was normal and that we are all different...I still feel tender and it has been eight weeks! The good news is I am down almost thrity pounds...

Wishing you well!!!
