My incisions are still a little red and have scabs still. I had my follow up appointment yesterday and my doc said they were healing fine. My port incision is the worst, it's like they overlapped the skin or something when they closed it up...it's going to be an ugly scar I'm sure.

My tissue under each of my incisions feels quite firm...maybe knotty..

Do you still have port pain w/movement??? Mine is still quite severe w/movement..

Try gentle circular motions right on top of the scar almost like massage. These tiny circular motions will break up the scar tissue and allow it to be flatter. Do this 2-3 times a day. A dermatologist told me to do this for other scars and it worked.:)

i'm 17 days out, also. all of my little scars DID have knots under them. i just felt them again to check, and they are mostly gone. i think that the knots could also be dissolving stitches, which could account for mine not being there anymore.
