newbie

Hi everyone,

I have an appointment with my surgeon on 4/18/05. I am excited and nervous. I have read through various messages and there are some problems that some people have experienced. Disputs some negative things I have read I am still determined to get the lap band surgery.

Could use some support.

Maria - Welcome! Good Luck with your surgery! You have to remember there are so many people that are banded, and usually the ones you read about are the problem ones. Everyone doesn't post about all the good with the band. So it is natural that you will read more about the problems. I am glad you aren't letting that influence your decission. The band is great and you won't find many people that would be willing to give it up after they get it.

Are you being banded in the US or somewhere else?

Please keep us posted on your progress!
