I had to do a 2 week pre surgery diet. It consisted of 3 sugar carnation instant breakfasts, 2 low fat under 250 calorie meals and 2 cups of vegetables. It wasnt too bad. I actually lost like 11 lbs. on it Good luck!

Dang, you guys are really lucky! My pre-op diet consists of 5 SF carnation instant breakfasts shakes, and than I can have chicken or beef broth, SF jello, or SF popsicles.

One way to stay on it is to realize how lucky you are. I was on two weeks of opti fast only. It was hard. But my surgery only took 12 mins. The doc said my liver was real small.
