does your brain feel fuzzy?

I'm about 12 days post op and my head still feels a little foggy. I have a hard time concentrating. Does anyone else experience this? Is it normal?

I'm six days out and today is the worst day I've had so far. On top of that, horrible shoulder pain from the gas stuff. Worst day I've had since right out of surgery I think.

I stopped taking pain medicine during the day and only took it a few times at night with the last time being several days ago. I think the pain meds make it worse. I'm not having any pain or gas pain

I got banded 4/2. I feel light-headed.

I'm not on pain meds, so that's not the cause.

spoke to a nurse, said to make sure I'm drinking Water (I am).

I'm sure its my brain missing the calories (glucose).

I went to my post op doctor's appointment on Monday and I was taking that nausea medicine religously every 6 hours. Dr. Singh said it wasn't necessary and I stopped and immediately the fog lifted! I am so glad!
