April 2, 200818 yr Hi, I have a question... I previously have had open surgery for gallbladder removal, and for a hysterecomy. There is scar tissue. Does anyone know the odds for me to have the easy surgery as opposed to the open surgery. I'm told they can't tell until they try. My surgery date is May 6th. Thanks dicev:rolleyes2:
April 3, 200818 yr I too have had both of those surgeries and it's true the surgeon won't know until they get into your tummy area to see if you will be okay with laproscropy or if you will need an open procedure. It all depends on how easy it is to reach your stomach and get around your liver.
