Stomach bug?

Here's my question - What do you feel like post op? Like a horse kicked you in the stomach? Like you have a bad stomach bug? Do you have nausea, diahrreah (sp?), headaches, what? I had the stomach bug to end all stomach bugs this weekend and it really got me to thinking about it.

Hello

I was banded on 3/17/08 and released the next day. I went back to work on Friday of the same week. But felt better on Monday when I returned full time to work. The first week for me was getting around up and down in chairs and just get moving. The big transaction is food for me. You will be on Step 3 for a month or liquids and liquid Protein Drinks if you follow the same plan. This will take some adjustment for me, but now it's okay. It feels very sore on my left side and its been over a week or so now and the pain is much less now. I can work and walk around if any advice I can give is walk, walk, walk, and drink. I am excited the first three days I didn't say that it was tough, but now I am glad and looking forward to the new life for me and my family. Best!

The only way I could describe it was it felt like I was kicked by a mule. Luckily, I did not have (and still have not) had any nausea - so I wouldn't really compare it to a stomach bug.

The one thing that I remember vividly was the soreness in my stomach muscles. Have you ever done sit ups or crunches and the next day your stomach muscles are sore? Or you cough so much that they get sore? That's what I remember the most....feeling like I had just done 1000 sit ups!
