I am sane!!

Psych eval was a joke, she passed me easy as can be ... only paperwork I had to fill out was insurance stuff.

She asked me a series of questions, had me count backwards from 100 by 7's. Dunno why but .. *shrugs*

I passed, calling my coordinator now to make my one on one with the surgeon!!

YAY!

Hahahah. Congrats?

I'm insane and still was approved for the band. Don't think they are looking for sanity...just can a patient and will a patient follow doctors orders.

The AMA now consider depression and anxiety disorder as comorbids....go figure!

The counting backwards is cognitive to see if you're able to concentrate well enough to count back

That's great you passed and that yours was easy! Alot of people didn't have it so easy like my test... I think in total I answered over 1k questions. Horrible and many hours wasted to find out just like you that I was sane.. :)

Well she did tell me she gave the guys with the white coats the day off so I was lucky ....

Maybe I am not sane, and she was to scared to tell me :eek::)

Wow, that is easy! I had my first of 4 visits yesterday!!! I have to take the million question test next monday, and then 2 more visits to talk to the guy. He was nice and gave me alot of information. But still...that's a $45/copay every time I go!

Congrats!

Mine wasn't long at all. I filled out the insurance paperwork, and that was it. I was head shrunk to make sure I could handle the changes necessary to the surgery and to make sure I am seated in reality.

I pretend well in front of others .. ROFL

Yea! You are giving me hope for tomorrow. I have no clue why the psych evaluation freaks me out but I hope mine is quick and painless. I sure don't want to find out I am not sane!!

Must practice counting backwards by 7. That actually sounds a bit straining!! :)

I just realized after thinking back .. I totally messed up the counting backwards things .. got the first few numbers right ... then it was down hill in a messy way from there ... LOL I think she was just happy I didn't give up >..... ROFL ...

Man I feel math retarded now .... time to break out my trig book to refresh my brain ....

Hell, I'd have had to have a piece of paper and a calculator to count backwards from 100 in 7's. Sheesh! Then again, I'm certifiable, so that just proves it! LOL!
