childcare after surgery

I have a 15month old and i'm going to be having surgery on the 28th. I was just wondering if anyone knows about how long i will need someone around to be able to help take care of him? He still needs alot of help as far as walking goes. He weighs about 30lbs

    Check to see what your surgeon's lifting/weight restrictions include. It should beincluded in their post-op/recovery info, and if it's not, just call and ask. That will help you gauge what you will need.
