How do u know when u need a fill?

I had surgery about 5 weeks ago and I am finding that I am hungry and able to eat more food at one sitting than the past weeks. I only lost 1 pound last week (week 4) and I havent weighed in yet this week I have an appt with the nutritionist on thursday the 20th. When do you know its time for a fill? i still do feel the band is tight ( I can feel tightness up to my throat) especially towards the end of the day. Anyone?

What kinds of foods are you eating?

I find that I am tighter in the morning and less in the evening. If I eat chicken or beef, then I can feel strong restriction. If I eat "slider foods" like Soups, then I don't feel that restriction and can eat more - even with good restriction.

I bugged my doc's office every 10 pounds, just about. I've been good since January now, though.

But the bad things will go down easier and easier and I can overeat on junk. I know I'm still tight when I have to chew - chew - chew the "good for you" foods and am full when I've only had about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of solid foods.

Rambled a bit...sorry!

For me it's a series of things I have to look at comprehensively:

Does it take larger portions to get rid of the hunger?

Am I needing to snack to stay satiated?

Can I eat foods that I couldn't eat before?

Can I drink more than a tiny sip during a meal without pain?

Do I get a sensation of restriction at the start of, or shortly into, my meal?

Do I feel tight in the morning?

Etc.
