10 days post op what to eat

Hello , I was just wondering what everyone else eats during this part of the stage. I havn't talked to a doctor since the op so I 've been reading to see what I could eat. If anyone could give some suggestions I would appreciate it very much.:smile2:

did you not get post op instructions? by day 10 i was on a mushy diet...i lived on hummus / cottage cheese / ff yogurt / ff refried beans w/lf sour cream. i was not a fan of protein shakes at the time but did manage 1 a day, and it was the atkins brand. call your doc's office and verify what stage of foods you should be on - then do a search here, and you can get some great ideas...all the best~

I have a protein drink I enjoy. I use one cup non-fat plain yogurt, one cup frozen strawberries (not sweetened), 2-3 pkgs Equal, one scoop unflavered whey protein powder, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend in a blender until smooth. Very high in protein and low in calories. Just stick it in an insulated mug and you can sip or drink from it over the day. I find it very filling and the unflavored whey protein powder has a higher protein content than the flavored ones.
