Hello from St. Louis!

Hi! My name is Charity, I'm a 22 year old pediatric RN. I'm going to be banded by Dr. Kirshenbaum on 4/16/08. I can't WAIT! It's going to be a bit of a trip, but my boyfriend is going with me.

So excited! :)

Nice to "meet" you. What are you thinking of doing about work? I've got lots of help, so I'm sure I won't have to lift, but my surgery date is a Wednesday and I'm thinking of going back to work on Thursday of the following week. I can't afford to take any more time than that - I'll have only been at my job for a month and a half once I have the surgery. I feel bad just asking for the time!

I work home care so I don't have any heavy lifting to worry about. I plan to take about a week off as well. Good luck to you. Keep us updated on your progress. I have an appointment w/ the dietician today. I believe it is a group session.
