Post-op diet and Work

I work at a desk for the most part of the day. Get up when I have to. #1 I have read and I understand that walking helps, ALOT. I can do that. But what about the diet? Can any of you give me examples of what you did, when you returned to work? Do the shakes have to be cold? I don't do soda, but warm tea. This weekend I am going to these shake aisles and check them out. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I personally like the EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control Shakes. They're 110kcal and have 17gm protein. They taste good (to me) and you can drink them either refridgerated or room-temp.

Good Luck!

I would reccomend taking the powdered chicken or beef boulion. If you have a water cooler at your work with the hot water outlet, you can make yourself a cup of chicken soup. (broth) Maybe sugar free jellow cup....the boost shakes (choc.) are pretty good.
