Abdominal pain

Ok surgery was 1/31/08.

I am now eating soft foods and doing fine. no problems going to the bathroom no problems eating BUt I am having pain in my left lower abdominal area??!! My port is over my bellybutton no problems with that....any ideas?????

How long has the pain persisted? Could it just be a bowel thing? Are you possibly constipated? Have you tried Gas-X?

started last week! I have more gas than usually but no probs with constipation.

Try some Gas-X or Pepto Bismol just as an experiment and see if that helps.
