Has anyone had sharp pains?

I had my surgery on feb.22. A couple of times I have had small sharp pains. Today I have been having bad pains, sharp in my right lower abdomen. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Does it go away? Thanks for any help. Leah

happened to me too, it gets better as the weight comes off. I was checked for gall bladder and hernia just in case, both negative. It usually happened to me after lying down, it is port placement hitting some kind of nerve/muscle. Tell your doc just in case, hope it gets better for you.

I vote gas pains too. I was banded on the 19th and have had super horrible gas pains. I would love to just have a major burp! I really made an effort to get lots of extra water the past two days and It seems to be helping quite a bit... Might be worth a try.
