when is a good time to start excersizing ?

I was banded 2/6/08 I feel good but i dont want to push it

any suggestions..

I started going to the gym 10 days post op...just able to do the treadmill tho...but I feel great and will be able to do classes and weight stuff in 1 week..I was banded 1-23-08...good luck

I would contact your Doctor for his/her advise regarding exercise. I started walking immediately ... then integrated going to the gym / weights / and working with a trainer 5wks post op.... Good luck!

I was told walk right away. Do cardio after two weeks and no weight training until 6 weeks post op.

I agree with Juli . I would start out walking then move onto more strenious exercise once you get your clearance at 6 weeks. Good luck.
