I started going to the gym 10 days post op...just able to do the treadmill tho...but I feel great and will be able to do classes and weight stuff in 1 week..I was banded 1-23-08...good luck

when is a good time to start excersizing ?

I would contact your Doctor for his/her advise regarding exercise. I started walking immediately ... then integrated going to the gym / weights / and working with a trainer 5wks post op.... Good luck!
