did anyone cheat post op during liquid protein phase?

I have just about had it with the way these protein shakes are making me feel! I can not get down more than 4 oz of liquid in and hour and a half and I am starving! My doctor said I am still swollen and to try 4 oz 3X a day. At the end of the day I am ravished! Plus I have to take a vitamin and my antibiotic (all liquid). I am feeling weak physically and feel if I dont get real food in me I may pass out! Anyone experience difficulty getting all these liquids down?

I was banded 2/7 and have lost about 30lbs so far. I am supposed to be on protein shakes, broth, non-cal drinks/jello etc. but occasionally I crave something salty. So once in a while I have a thin slice of cheddar that I chew to mush, or (you'll) laugh I go to the fridge with a teaspoon and have a spoonful of mustard or some condiment or sald dressing, just to get the taste. Has not been a problem and I don't think its impacting my weight loss.
