Post op abdominal pain

I am two weeks postop for lap band surgery. I have intense pain above the largest incision. Excruciating when I sneeze, cough, even walking is difficult. I'm calling my surgeon in the am - I am not a whimp at all when it comes to pain. No fever or redness around incisions. Any ideas - similar experiences here? I have had not problems holding down liquids and soft food. Thanks for your thoughts.

you could have possible pulled the port site. This area is very tender and if aggravated will cause you pain and discomfort. Definitely call the doc but I wouldn't panic yet. When you cough or sneeze - remember to put pressure on that area so that you don't strain too much. i hope it is just a pull. Take care
